ZAC de Bongraine, Aytré - La Rochelle

Mission of urban ecology and master’s degree committed in the transition for the realization of the ZAC ecoquartier of Bongraine south of La Rochelle whose ambition is a carbon neutrality of the territory by 2040.

The 35-hectare perimeter consists mainly of a railway site until the 1990s, when existing facilities were converted to the fringes of the site.

The project aims to:

Provide affordable, diverse and quality housing to a large population,

Encourage the use of alternative travel to design a well-connected neighbourhood,

Propose an innovative project that enhances the environment by focusing on sobriety,

Create a lively neighbourhood that is pleasant to live in and promotes urban and social ties.
